' A picture tells a thousand stories'; maybe this is not totally true, but photographs can significantly enhance the level of information being gathered.
Using close range digital imagery, we are able to provide complete, true to scale, elevational photos. Based on a survey control network, numerous images are rectified and merged into a high-resolution photograph. This can in turn be added to a CAD drawing where digitising or viewing and plotting can be carried out. This is a valuable asset for any historical building elevation where intricate details need to be viewed and recorded.
When representing remote heighted information of adjacent properties or features within our survey drawings, annotated photographs will be supplied. Whether you require eaves and ridges, and or window cill and head levels, these can be effectively represented in a visual way that prevents any confusion about which feature is indicated.
With the ability to position the source and other relevant features within a photograph, the ability to superimpose new elements on that photograph becomes possible. When issues regarding line of site, visual impact or other planning issues are a matter of concern at the design stage, time and effort can often be alleviated by preparing these visuals.
