Historic & Heritage Surveys

A key part of our work is providing detailed survey information for planning and listed building applications. Architectural plans for historic buildings require an extra level of expertise to represent their true character and constructive nature. These buildings are generally not square and not vertical and have hidden structural elements that often need a little more consideration. Over the years, we have surveyed numerous listed houses, barns and even a few castles. Utilising a variety of survey methods, we aim to gather and represent these historical artefacts as drawings, not only as a useful aid to construction but as a historical record for the future.
